Herbst Arabians was established in May 2013 by Victoria “Tor” Herbst. Tor graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction, along with a certification in Agricultural Education.

Beyond her formal education, Tor has more than 25 years of experience owning, riding, and showing Arabian horses. She has successfully competed at the local, regional, and national levels. Tor began riding as a toddler under the guidance of Karen Baldwin and went on to further her education and riding career under the direction of Mary Trowbridge and Lindsey Knight.

Tor is also the Treasurer of the Arabian Horse Club of Connecticut, where she enjoys promoting and supporting the Arabian breed. Her extensive education, competitive experience, and lifelong passion for horses form the foundation of the Herbst Arabians program.
